“CONSCIOUS CONSCIENCE”
CONSCIOUS CONSCIENCE
Whispering in my conscience, faithful fiend to me
Discerns deceptions frock so false,, truth’s narrow systole
Chief counsel companion, divine design to mind
Speaks infinite wisdom, forewarns falsehood blind
Delicate voice of stillness, small soul’s construction
Sound silenced by worldliness, confused instruction
Wise witness warn signals, steady honor in honesty
Stay, my just minister, disguise not to me
Teach my days truthfulness, sear my soul with no pretense
Benevolent benefactor best, be conscious, my conscience
